Lincs Clay Club is owned and operated by its members and has been on its current site since 2000.
The site
incorporates both field and woodland stands.
Although it is only a small club there are 5 stands incorporating 10
traps offering Sporting targets with a varied set up each shoot.
Lincs Clay Club mainly operates Laporte
and Bowman automatic traps, using either wired or wireless remote
controls.
Lincs Clay Club is registered with
Nottinghamshire Police and we are able to accept unlicensed
newcomers to shoot under direct supervision of a licence holder.
The club operates
on a fortnightly basis with shooting days being held on a Sunday
(please see the diary page for details).
Lincs Clay Club is CPSA
Affiliated and we have trained safety officers on site ensuring the
shooting day is conducted smoothly and safely.
Disabled and
wheelchair users are welcome, however must be aware that the site is
situated in a field and can become quite boggy in wet weather.
Refreshments of Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate are available at the
clubhouse for a small charge.
A limited amount of cartridges are available for purchase at the
clubhouse, if you wish to purchase these as a guest please bring
your Shotgun Certificate.
Eye and ear protection are compulsory on site and are available for loan
from the clubhouse
Young shooters are actively encouraged to attend but must be under
the direct supervision of a parent or guardian.
Lincs Clay Club is a family orientated
organisation our aim is to provide a safe, enjoyable and challenging shooting experience for all attendees.
Persons prohibited under Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 are
disqualified from shooting at Lincs Clay Club
